Osbaldeston joins Ophthonix as CEO

San Diego, CA --Ophthonix, an innovative company marketing advanced vision correction products that provide consumers with superior optical clarity and crispness of vision, announced today that Stephen J. Osbaldeston has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.In his new position Osbaldeston will be responsible for all strategic and operational activities for the expanding company.
Osbaldeston is a recognized growth expert with a record of building successful sales and marketing oriented organizations in the consumer products, dental and optical industries.He will be driving Ophthonix to rapidly transition from its introductory markets to full deployment, both nationally and globally.

Osbaldeston has more than 20 years of experience in the eye care field with upper management experience domestically and internationally at leading firms including CIBA Vision, where he was most recently President, Global Specialty Lens and Lens Care.Prior to CIBA Vision, Osbaldeston held a variety of management positions with Bausch & Lomb, rising to the position of Corporate Vice President and responsible for the OTC skin care, eye care and vision accessories lines.
Osbaldeston is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Ontario, Canada and holds an MBA from Queens University, Ontario, Canada.
